Web-Based Communication, Collaboration, Design, Creation, and Making

So on week 5 we continue to learn about Web-Based Communication, Collaboration, Design, Creation, and Making. Such an interesting topic because it so close with modern education era. I look forward to try and apply all those application that suitable with the topic for my subject.

ONLINE COMMUNICATION

It can be defined as website that allows you to talk and communicate to other people around the world with the absence of the internet. This medium can be classify to Blogs, Vlogs, Podcats, Web Pages/ Social Media and Video Conferencing. I am sure that each of us have at least 1 media social in the phone. This is one of the medium that we use to communicate to other people. Another medium that widely use during this pandemic Covid-19 time is Video Conferencing. As the teacher I often use Google Meet and Microsoft Teams to conduct a class during 'pdpr'

ONLINE COLLABORATION

Can be defined as the process of connecting student digitally to communicate in an online space. The example of  online collaboration that we often used are Google drive, Google Doc/Sheet/Slides, Padlet and Kahoot. We can share any information that we want using this application. Kahoot! is one another apps that I used to create some game during online learning. My students also enjoy playing quiz with Kahoot. They can challenge with their friends and also see their performance during games.

WEB DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT

This apps help students understand how the web works with web design and development tools. Learning HTML, CSS and PHP will help the students learn the basics of a website which could serve as a platform for them to share their knowledge. Learn from scratch or use web design tools. This is something new to me and I never used it before. I am glad that madam teach us this topic as I add one new knowledge. The example of Web Design & Development are Wordpress, Adobe Spark, Google Sites and Weebly.

ONLINE DESIGN, CREATION & MAKING

This apps bring out students' creativity in completing task given. This online design sites is really catching my attention. Actually I explore more during this pandemic time especially in technology. Most of the presentation slides, poster and infographic be done by using Canva or Poster My Wall. it easier a lot of my job I guess 😛 

Lastly, that all for now. Again I really enjoy learning this topic as it close to me as a teacher and student. Thank you madam ❤
